Who doesnt love junie b jones. Really kept the kids busy. She is so funny bought for a road trip. Great choice.
Avoid this series. I can't imagine more inappropriate reading for a 5-8 year old. These books are loaded with poor grammar, individual words that are too advanced and, on top of that, they encourage bad behavior.
For her to be "almost six", she sure leads an interesting life. I love, love, love this series. He LOVES Junie B, which is why I am buying him his own copy for his birthday. I like this series because I can sit down and enjoy this with my godchildren (10 and 11 years of age) and not to mention my 3 year old nephew. Junie B. keeps me in stitches.
Having most of the books already, this is the perfect companion so we can follow along with the story as its being read. Junie B is a riot.
I actually didn't go through the hassle of sending it back but went out and purchased the books and gave the recipient both, which of course cost me double what I had planned for. I had to kick myself when this arrived as it was the audio set and not the books. I went back and read the description again and sure enough it was there, but I found it very misleading that they didn't show a picture of CD's but something more representative of a book.
